TechNote helps people plan trips with family and friends. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and how to request deletion.
Information we collect
We store account information such as your name, email address, profile image, and authentication identifier. We also store trip content you create or upload, such as itinerary items, notes, places, images, and shared trip access settings.
How we use information
We use your information to provide sign-in, let you create and share trips, show trip content to people you authorize, and support image uploads and access controls inside the app.
Sharing and storage
Trip information is visible only to the trip owner and people who are granted access. Authentication is handled through Clerk, database storage through Neon Postgres, and selected image uploads through Cloudinary.
Data deletion
If you want your TechNote account data deleted, contact us and include the email address used for your account. If you signed in with Facebook, you can also follow the instructions on the Facebook data deletion page linked below.
